Stamp club projects

My stamp club just started tonight and we had a great time. They made these three projects.

I just love this ornament gift card holder. I cased the idea, but for the life of me I can not remember where I found it. Whoever you are thank you for the cute idea!
They could choose whether to make one with the red snowflake or the white snowflake.

Stamp Set: Punches Three
Ink: Real Red
CS: Old Olive, Real Red, Whisper White, Ski Slope DSP
Access: Little Felt Flurries, Square Scallop Punch, Silver Elastic Cord, Silver brads, Scallop Edge Punch.

The other card we did was the snowman globe card from the Christmas card SAS.

The last project we did was a magazine holder. I think this is such a cute way to give cards. I got the template from Becky Roberts 12 Days of Christmas. She has some great ideas.Thank you stamp club for making it a great night! See you next month for more fun projects.

Fun photo holders

We made these at my last Christmas stamp camp. I think they turned out sooo cute I just had to post the picture and let you see how they look. They hold my cute kids pictures. I gave a set of these to my mom for her birthday this week and she loved them. She brought them to work and now everyone can see how cute her grand kids are. I love how the stamp set had the empty space. A perfect place for there names, or any other info you want to put there!

I used 4 large binder clips along with the Curly Label Punch Bunch, Kiwi Kiss ink, Bella Rose DSP and Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon.

It is also using the new Alpine Ribbons Original. Love it!

I just love how this card turned out. Santa looks so happy!
We will also be making this cute container. Not a great picture of it, but the little circle says "A Very Merry Christmas to you". It uses Acetate paper to hold the candy or whatever you want in. Halloween projects

The swap I'm in had some great cards. These are 2 that I just had to share. The first one is by Marissa Hewitt. The card can lay flat to mail, but then it will stand up by itself. I just love the work she did to it. She used Halloween Frights stamp set and Frightful Fence jumbo Wheel.
This bag was made by Chairl Ivie Miller. I love how fun it is and it would be a great way to give some fun Halloween treats to some special people! The stamp set she used was Halloween Frights and Eat, Drink & Be Scary from the holiday mini catalog.

Thank you ladies for some great ideas!

Wow swap cards

I'm in 2 different swaps for mini catalogs. Here are my cards that I did.

I used the same layout as the shaker card from my Cards that Move class. Mr. Twigster was the stamp set from the Holiday Mini. For the snow to make it a shaker card I used the Chunky Sparkles Glitter. Ribbon and cardstock is all Baja Breeze. Love the new Striped ribbon!

Stamp set was Scandinavian Season. I used the new DSP from the holiday mini called Ski Slope. I also used the new Alpine Originals Ribbon for the middle stripe. Absolutely love it! I accented the tree with some Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Card stock is Chocolate Chip and Old Olive

On this card I used Really Rust with Perfect Plum. Not a combo I would have EVER thought of but Hollieanne gave me the idea and I loved how it turned out. Thanks Hollieanne! The stamp set is Season of Friendship from the holiday mini and the ink is More Mustard, Really Rust, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive. The little bird is stamped in Basic Black then cut out and the ribbon is Elegant Eggplant grosgrain.

Cards that move cards

I know the class was about 2 weeks ago, but I still wanted to post the cards that we did. The ladies just loved them.

Slider card closed and then opened to reveal a Birthday message!

This is a wiper card. When you kind of push it closed a message pops up.
I used Inspired by Nature and Upsy Daisy stamp sets, along with the new Top Notz Sizzix die. Card Stock is Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango and Whisper White.

This was there's and my favorite. It's a shaker card. I just loved the simplicity of of. I used Pocket Silhouttes stamp set and everything else is Kiwi Kiss.

All in all we had a great class. Thank you ladies for coming and making it fun.

DVD holder Scrapbook class

I saw this DVD holder scrapbook and fell in love with it. I used different designer series paper (DSP) then the original and I just love how these colors look together.
The front of the scrapbook. The ribbon slides right off or unties to open the book.

1st and 2nd pages.

The 3rd and 4th pages.

The 5th and 6th pages. The little envelopes have a paper that comes out for either journaling or pictures, or even a great place to put gift cards or cash.

Back cover and the front cover without the ribbon.

Click here to see my inspiration.

I will be having a class on this DVD scrapbook October 14 from 6:30-9:00. The cost will be $15.00 and it will include 1/2 package of any DSP you want to use for your scrapbook along with all the other supplies needed. You will need to bring your own paper cutter or some sort. If you would like to make multiple scrapbooks you can do so. The second one will be $7.00, but only if you use the same DSP you chose for the first one. If you want different DSP the cost will still be $15.00. This makes a great gift for birthdays, anniversaries or even for Christmas that is right around the corner. Registration deadline is Sept. 30.

This class is also offered as a mail class. If you can't attend but would like to make one I can mail you the cut out supplies to do so. Email me and I'll send you a pay now link with the amount including shipping. There is a $4.00 shipping fee. If you have any questions just send me an email.

Frankie has come to life!

I have seen these cards all over the web, and I just had to make one for myself. He is so dang cute. I used this card for a swap I'm in with 5 other people. I had to apologize to them, letting them know that he won't fit in a regular envelope. They said they would forgive me this one time.

No more Olympics, boo hoo

My family and I have really enjoyed having the Olympics on the last couple of weeks. We have enjoyed seeing the athletic ability of all the athletes that work so hard for what they do. I really admire there dedication and sacrifice. So to commemorate all there achievement this is a card my 10 year old made using scraps she got out of my garbage.

Who says you need a half piece of cardstock to make a card. All you need is enough scraps and scotch tape. Nice card Courtney!

My card won our group meeting swap!

We had our group meeting for Stampin' Up! demonstrators under Margo Kelly. She does a great meeting and is a great upline. Anyways we almost always do a card swap and vote for the card we like the best. My card was the winner! I was so suprised and so excited! The card I used was the cupcake card from the previous post. I won the word happiness in our new line called Decor Elements that Stampin' Up! sells now. It's a line of vinyl for walls, and a bunch of other things. When I put it up I'll post a picture here.

Stamp-a-stack registration date extended

I'm having a Stamp-a-stack on August 27 from 6:30-8:30. We will be making a total of 12 cards, 3 cards each of 4 different designs. This is a great way to start your card collection or add to it. I've extended the registration deadline to August 19. The cost is $15.00. If you can't make it and you would like the cards I can ship them to you for an additional $4.00. I will stamp the cards and make one of each of the designs so that you can assemble the other one's.

Here is a sample of one of the cards we will be making. It uses the brand new set Crazy for Cupcakes. (Sorry about the bad picture, I just couldn't get a good one.) I received this stamp set for FREE from convention a couple of weeks ago for having the winning wrist band. I was so excited because I just love this stamp set. I got the card layout from a swap I received from convention. I change the colors and the stamp set, but it really is as easy as that. Find a layout you like and change a few things and now it's your cards.

Card we will be making at my Stamp-a-stack

Just email me if you would like to attend, or if you can't come and you still want to have the cards I can mail them to you for an additional $4.00. I will stamp them and you can assemble them. If you have any questions just let me know.

Now blogging

I keep seeing all these blogs that are so inspiring to me so I decided to start blogging myself. On my blog I'll have samples using Stampin' Up! products. I love Stampin' Up! and I just came back from the yearly convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. What a great time we had with our group of local demonstrators and also talking to new demonstrators. I learned sooooo much there and I hope to share some new things with you in the near future. For now here are some cards that I made to bring to convention to swap. Enjoy and have a great day!!!
